What is Pula Lens?
One place to preserve family history and wisdom (Pula Stories), share everyday joy (Pula Moments), and ask life's questions of elders and the community (Ask the Wise).
Who can see what I share?
You decide per post: Private (only you), Family (members of your Pula family groups), or Everyone. You can also share anonymously to hide your name.
How does the Community Legacy Fund work?
Members chip in from their Pula Wallet into one shared pot. Members in need request a grant with a reason; Pula staff review it, and if approved the funds go into the recipient's Pula Wallet. It is fully closed-loop — money only moves between Pula Wallets and the pot. It is NOT a bank transfer, cash-out, remittance or registered charity, and the pot can never grant more than has been contributed.
How are voice notes turned into text?
When you record or upload a voice note you can tap 'Transcribe to text'. This makes spoken stories searchable and readable on slow connections. You can always edit the transcript.
How does discovery work — is it fair?
Feeds are newest-first with no hidden ranking and no pay-to-boost, ever. The 'Fresh voices' rail deliberately shows newcomers first, and 'Voices near you' lets you spotlight your own region.
